Being a mother is something I have waited and prayed for since I was a young girl mothering dolls. After 4 years of infertility, tests and procedures that failed 100% of the time, we were blessed with a miracle. I have become passionate about helping others through the struggle of infertility and have started a non-profit organization in order to reach out to people across the country.

It has been a process of sorts to be open enough to talk about this part of me, but it is now something that I choose to embrace and appreciate, as I have learned more and more about myself and my purpose.

I hope this blog can be a place where you can find strength and support through others who know the struggle. Please feel free to contact me with questions, advice, or any and all venting. I know that with the help of each other, we can overcome this struggle...or at least handle it in a way that will leave us better for it.

4

There were 4 baby blessings this past sunday...
FOUR.
Now I've come to expect (and even prepare for) at least 1-2 each fast Sunday.
I must admit, this one was difficult.
2 boys and 2 girls.
All perfect sent straight from God.
I sat there in awe.
Miracles for so many people.
I was feeling the normal pains of my cycle.
I wanted to run home.
I wanted to throw up.
I wanted to cry.
...so I did.

They say it's "in the water."
What am I drinking and where can I get some of that special water?

  1. 4? That is impossibly hard Jill. I swear, where do you guys live? Maybe you should come live by us. But more seriously, I am sorry. It is so hard to watch that. You are wonderful and I am convinced you will get your baby.

  2. i don't know, but if you find some, please share with me! some days you just have to go home and cry. it's okay to have days when you can't pretend to be thrilled at everyone else's miracle.
